An invitation to you
World Childless Week gives us 7 days but the tagline is “We are here for you through the year, we get louder in September”. The we was initially set up to represent me and the Ambassadors but equally it can be read as representing us all and how we support each other.
PART ONE
The Get Involved section initially referred to submissions but has now grown to include the Inclusion in Employer Calendar and Inclusive Library Project. Ideas that became reality and are templates for how you can also get involved and make positive changes.

If you had a positive outcome I’d love to share your story as a guest blog to inspire others: why did you decide to take action, what did you do, what reaction did you receive and how does it make you feel?
As with submissions you can be fully credited or remain anonymous.
If it was a negative response perhaps we can learn from it and adapt the approaches we’ve suggested or create a follow up response that reinforces the need for change.
PART TWO
World Childless Week is continually growing and changing to adapt and embrace more aspects of our community. I hope the Get Involved section will expand with more ideas that become reality, projects to inspire us all into action.
So, if you have an idea for change that you have already put into place, get in touch and we’ll work at getting it added to the website.
Or, perhaps you have the beginning of an idea that you’d like to brainstorm over; I may not have the answers but hopefully I’ll know someone who does.
I started World Childless Week because I saw a huge void where we were not represented. A small idea that has grown each year and I know you can do the same. We have a wealth of knowledge and I want to support you through World Childless Week.
For many of us one of the first thought we have is that we are alone and no one else understands. Well, YOU are not alone and “We are here for you through the year” and together we can make a difference. World Childless Week is your platform; your voice.
