The Power of Creative Expression in Processing Grief

In this webinar Sue Bulmer of Metaphorically Maternal will explore creativity and its many benefits, simple ways we can more creative in our own daily lives and how creativity can help us to process difficult feelings and emotions such as grief and loss. She will talk about her own research and will provide ideas and options for our own creative expression, whether this be individually, in a group or therapeutically with a Creative Arts Therapist.

Sue Bulmer

Sue Bulmer is a HCPC and BAAT registered Art Therapist working with individuals and organisations in the East Midlands. Her personal experience of infertility and pregnancy loss led her to her creative life as an artist and subsequently becoming an Art Therapist. Having seen and felt how powerful and transformative creative expression can be in processing and healing from grief and loss she is now passionate about helping others on their journey of recovery. She is a member of the British Infertility Counselling Association and has undergone training with the Foundation for Infant Loss. Her arts based research exploring grief and loss associated with infertility was published in 2020 and Sue now speaks about her experience to others to help spread the word about the benefits of living a more creative life.
