Bring your sorrows and spend some focused time with fellow grievers tending your grief. All forms of loss are welcome at this vigil. Many life experiences result in grief; all deserve to be tended to.

The grief-tending practice can take many forms.
A few ways you might consider tending your grief are:
Build or refresh your altar,
Movement practice,
Mantra practice,
Reading: a loved one's favourite book, a book they wrote, or a book that evokes the heart of your grief,
Writing: either free writing, working on prose or poetry,
Crafting,
Drawing or colouring,
Resting in comfort with pillows and blankets,
Making a beloved's favourite drink or food,
However you would like to spend the time.
How to prepare:
Create a quiet space to be,
Bring a pen and paper,
Have a candle,
Gather items for the activity you have chosen to do during the grief tending time.

Will this session be recorded?
For privacy reasons, this session will not be recorded.
Am I expected to have my camera on?
You are welcome to turn your camera off during the grief-tending practice portion of the vigil. We ask that you have your camera on during the other portions to create a sense of community. The intention is to come together to witness grief - your own and each other's.
Is there an opportunity to share my grief with the group?
Yes, there is an opportunity to speak the grief you are holding or have one of the facilitators speak your grief if you don't want to do so yourself.
