Mindful Yoga Practice

A journey to childlessness often leaves us distrustful and feeling separate from our bodies. This has a direct impact on our capacity to feel safe, at home and ourselves in our bodies, which in turn affects our relationships, level of happiness and sense of self-worth. Mindful Yoga is a powerful practice that can help childless women come home to their bodies and meet themselves with gentle kindness, deep respect and fierce self-compassion.

The intention of this gentle 45-minute session is to connect with yourself and your body while moving in and out of simple shapes. No experience is necessary and much of the session can be done lying down or sitting if you choose.

During the final 10 minutes, we will practice self-compassion with a guided meditation.

Additional information:

  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and set yourself up with enough space to extend your arms. A yoga mat is nice but not necessary. If you feel you will join and use a chair, choose a firm, yet comfortable one, without wheels, where your feet can be flat on the ground.

  • As this is a webinar, you will be able to see and hear the presenter but no one will be able to see or hear you. So come as you are and do what you can/want.

  • It can be nice to have water or a comforting drink.

  • Have a pen and paper available.

Please note: This workshop will be recorded and available to view on the website, if you are unable to attend it live. You do not need to register to watch the replay.
