Champion nominations CLOSE 31st JULY
PLEASE NOTE: YOU CAN NOMINATE THE SAME PERSON AS YOU DID LAST YEAR
Last year we introduced yearly World Childless Week Champions. People within our community who we want to acknowledge for making a difference and say “thank you for doing what you do”.
Alongside the Ambassadors choice of Champions, it’s time for you to get involved again and nominate your People’s Champion. The person who has made a positive impact on how you have dealt with your childlessness. It may be someone who is confident to speak out and does so on a regular basis, an author who’s words of wisdom made you see things in a different light or that one friend who is always there for you at the darkest moments.
The People’s Champion will NOT gain the title because they receive the most nominations. They will receive the title because of the difference they have made for you. So choose your words wisely when explaining why you are nominating them.
The only criteria is that they too are childless not by choice.
If you nominate someone who wishes to remain anonymous we will work with them to ensure they are acknowledged for their deed and not their name. Their confidentiality will be our priority and lead any final decisions we make.
Nominations close on the 31st July, so if someone has not instantly sprung to mind you have some time to think it over. Once you know who your People’s Champion is, you can nominate them here
PLEASE NOTE: Last year’s Champions will not be available for consideration this year. World Childless Week 2021 Champions were: Sarah Lawrence (People’s Champion) Kirsty Woodard and Katy Seppi
We thank them all for their continuing support of the childless community.
