I am strong, striving, and succeeding,

The pen is the healer, as I express,

no longer my emotions but release,

to the page for everyone to hear and see.

I am talented, thriving, and tolerant,

The crafts that I make awaken my soul,

painting, colouring, knitting, or whatever it may be

No longer do I dwell in the pain and grief of yesterday.

I am expanding, exploring, and evolving.

travelling, visiting, journeying to other worlds,

No longer do I wait for motherhood anymore,

I am so much more than just this; I now decide which way to exist!
