They say, *"Do your grief work."*
They say, *"Sit with your grief."*
They say, *"It will get better."*
But what if you don't know how to grieve?
What if no one ever taught you what grief feels like?
What if you keep wondering when it will finally stop?
It took all my courage to turn around and face my grief.
Healing has never been a destination.
It has been a quiet journey.
And even now, when life feels lighter, I know grief can meet me again—unexpectedly, gently, around the next corner.
Not because I'm moving backwards.
But because grief moves differently than time.
The greatest gift on this journey has been finding women who understand without explanation.
Women who know that childlessness is not simply an absence - it is love with nowhere to go.
Community.
Acceptance.
Curiosity for the life that still unfolds.
Meditation.
Inner work.
These have become my companions.
How long will I be childless?
My whole life.
How long am I allowed to grieve?
My whole life.
And somehow...
those two truths no longer frighten me.
Because alongside my grief, something else has quietly grown.
New dreams.
Unexpected joy.
Deep friendships.
A life I never imagined, yet one that still holds beauty.
I once heard someone say,
"Grief is like a cha-cha-cha."
I smiled.
Because I love to dance.
One step to the side.
One step forward.
One step back.
Sometimes I lose the rhythm.
Sometimes I find it again.
Grief isn't asking me to stand still.
It's teaching me a different dance.
And little by little...
I'm learning the rhythm of my own.
