Emma
I choose to find joy
And joy finds me
A landscape offers plenty for the eyes
For the feet
For the soul
I hike, I ramble, I amble
I commit to going places
That childless freedom provides
On Mondays I dance
I learn from people older than me
Something that might be lost otherwise
Sometimes I get it straight away
Sometimes I struggle
I feel frustrated and
I am offered kindness
There will always be a part of me
That grieves the loss of what could have been
But there is more to me than this
So I choose to live the life I have
I choose to consider
What stimulates me
What matters to me
How I have fun
Who I spend time with
What I do with with my energy
I choose to let go
To let flow
