My darling Regina,
Please know that you were loved and desired, you will always have a special place in my heart. You were named after your grandfather, Reginald, who would have been so proud of you as we, your parents, would have been. I dreamt of you so many times, crawling onto your dad’s lap whilst he studied or lying on his chest whilst you both slept on a hot summer’s day. You were a part of my thoughts for so long that it broke my heart to know that you would never be, that I’d never get to know you or who you would have become. I wish I could have known you with your dad and see you share your granddad's memories. I wish I could have seen your smile and held you in my arms when you cried. I wish so much for you. You will always be in my thoughts.
