An Ode To The Lady Of The Miseries

Nia

You broke me with your lies

Twists and slanderous accusations.

No awareness of the ties

Your position had to legislators.

The narcissist within you

Took my little family,

My life, my happiness too.

Seeing this you gloated happily.

Yes, I broke. I lost them to you.

I grieved, I came apart

But I learned how miserable this showed you;

The bitter, nasty mother heart.

I healed through all your bullying.

I healed in spite of you.

I laid my little darlings to their rest

As they whispered ‘don’t let her best’.

I grew from the shadows of my grief,

My five angels lying within.

My strength causing you such disbelief.

But did you think you’d win?

I rise from the ashes you created.

And still your nasty digs toward me you submit

Not knowing how little I am baited,

Not seeing now others notice it!

My future is bright now, I shine

Beyond your nasty tyranny

I live a life I love and feel Devine

Helped by Knowing the bully’s misery.

I rose! I grew! I healed!

My angels in my heart forever more.

My strength forever sealed.

You Will Hurt Me Never More!
