The Big Conversation on Care

If you live in England you can add your voice to The Big Conversation on Care.

The Big Conversation on Care is an opportunity for people across England to share their views and help shape the Commission’s recommendations. Between now and April 2027, it will ask people what they want and expect from a future National Care Service, including some of the hardest questions: who it should support, what families should reasonably be expected to do, and how the country should pay for care in a fair and sustainable way.

It has been organised by the Casey Commission on Adult Social Care and will inform the Prime Minister on how the public thinks he should address the adult social care crisis.

You can help highlight the concerns of Ageing Without Children.

First of all you’ll need to register HERE (scroll to the bottom of the page).

Once registered you can participate in two ways:

1. SUBMIT A PROPOSAL: You can submit a short answer to the conversation's question "When we are old or disabled, or have a serious illness, who should support us and how?". This needs to start "We should" and be no longer than a further 130 characters. You will receive an email (can take 24 hours) when it is published.

2. RESPOND TO THE PROPOSALS: This enables you to vote for or against other proposals.
