What has “moving forward” looked like for us? In this webinar, Katy Seppi, Aisha Balesaria, and Lana Manikowski will talk about the shifts we’ve experienced between realizing we’d be childless and where we are today. We’ll reflect on our relationship with grief, what surprised us most, noticeable changes, and what we’ve come to appreciate about our current lives.

PANELLISTS
Katy Seppi - USA
World Childless Week Ambassador
Katy Seppi (she/her) is childless after infertility. After four years of unsuccessfully trying to become a mom, she decided to embrace a life without kids. While this
was the most difficult decision she's ever made, she has no regrets and has found new ways to cultivate meaning, love, and joy in her current life.
Katy is the founder of the Childless Collective, a hub for community and support for those who are involuntarily childless, including: an online community; group coaching; and the annual Childless Collective Summit.
Katy holds a Master's of Social Work from the University of Georgia, with an emphasis in community empowerment and program development, and she loves applying that expertise to creating support and connection for the childless community. She currently lives in Savannah, Georgia.
Aisha Balesaria - UK
World Childless Week Ambassador
Aisha is a freelance writer, speaker and coach. She founded mindbodyrevival_coach after her long fertility journey came to an end. Aisha had multiple
pregnancy losses and more than 11 IVF cycles over a ten-year period before she eventually changed focus, and decided to lean into championing others who are also non-parents whatever their circumstances. Through writing and coaching, Aisha supports those in the thick of their fertility journey and when it ends without a baby. She’s a passionate advocate for endometriosis, baby loss and reproductive health.
When Aisha’s not doing the above, she’s usually navigating pain caused by stage four endometriosis, travelling, brunching or cuddling with her British shorthair, Peaches.
Lana Manikowski - USA
Lana is a certified life coach, bestselling author, and voice for women navigating life when fertility treatments end without children. After seven years of fertility treatments that did not result in a child, Lana left treatment to find no established support for women moving forward without children. When the resources she needed did not exist, she built them.
She is the author of “So Now What?”, founder of The Other’s Day®, and host of The “So Now What?” Podcast. Today, Lana helps women let go of the shame of not having a baby, find their place in a world often centered around motherhood, and build lives that feel purposeful, joyful, and whole without children.
Lana is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and volunteers with RESOLVE. She lives in Chicago with her husband and fur baby, Coco.
