Submission Guidelines

The deadline for submissions has officially CLOSED

If you send in a submission if may not be processed in time to be included in this years event, but I will still contact you when time permits.

Please sign up to the World Childless Week newsletter to hear about everything happening this year.

World Childless Week welcomes submissions of all descriptions: written word, poem, song, dance, painting, sculpture, photography etc. If your submission can be shown on a website, it can be included. If you submit a written article we suggest 800-1000 words, however don’t be put off if your article is longer or shorter as we’d still love to hear from you.

Whilst every submission is checked to ensure it falls within the ethos of World Childless Week and the scheduled daily topics, your grammar, spelling and vocabulary are not under scrutiny. If you’re new to World Childless Week or it’s the first time you are sending in a submission and would like to know a little more, please read: What is a Submission and where does it go?

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The last date for submissions is: Midnight on Sunday 24th August

  • Sending in a submission does not guarantee it will be included during World Childless Week

  • Sending in a submission means you are giving World Childless Week (WCW) permission to share your submission on the WCW website and use it in full or in part on the WCW social media platforms, and elsewhere.
