Creativity is what I Know Best by Kate

Creativity is what I know best, and during some of my darkest times I turned to drawing.

While I love to write, I found sometimes words are just too challenging,  or have the tendency to put things in a box.

I started to draw most days. Solely for me.  Childlike doodles. For therapy. That way it didn't matter what I drew.  Didn't matter how rubbish they were. How small.  How dark.  How offensive or bleak or uncomfortable, or even if it was just a line on the page. It was an expression. And as often as possible I just drew my day.

Sometimes words entwined.

I just had this feeling like if I didn't, and I had no-one else to talk to I might well implode!
